📌 சுற்றளவு என்றால் என்ன? / What is Perimeter?

ஒரு வடிவத்தின் எல்லாப் பக்கங்களின் நீளங்களின் கூட்டுத்தொகையே சுற்றளவு.
Perimeter is the total length of all sides of a shape.

Daily Life Example:
ஒரு தோட்டத்தைச் சுற்றி வேலி அமைப்பதற்கு தேவைப்படும் நீளம் → சுற்றளவு

📌 சதுரத்தின் சுற்றளவு / Perimeter of a Square

Formula: 4 × ஒரு பக்கம் (4 × side)

Side = 5 cm
Perimeter = 4 × 5 = 20 cm

📌 செவ்வகத்தின் சுற்றளவு / Perimeter of a Rectangle

Formula: 2 × (நீளம் + அகலம்)
2 × (Length + Breadth)

Length = 8 cm, Breadth = 4 cm
Perimeter = 2 × (8 + 4) = 24 cm

📌 பரப்பளவு என்றால் என்ன? / What is Area?

ஒரு வடிவம் பிடிக்கும் முழு மேற்பரப்பே பரப்பளவு.
Area is the total surface covered by a shape.

Floor tiles, classroom floor space → Area

📌 சதுரத்தின் பரப்பளவு / Area of a Square

Formula: பக்கம் × பக்கம் (side × side)

Side = 6 cm
Area = 6 × 6 = 36 cm²

📌 செவ்வகத்தின் பரப்பளவு / Area of a Rectangle

Formula: நீளம் × அகலம் (Length × Breadth)

Length = 10 cm, Breadth = 5 cm
Area = 10 × 5 = 50 cm²
