📌 Key Notes on Light

• ஒளி எப்போதும் நேர்க்கோட்டில் செல்லும் (Rectilinear Propagation). இதனாலேயே நிழல்கள் உருவாகின்றன.
• ஒளி ஒரு ஊடகத்திலிருந்து மற்றொரு ஊடகத்திற்குச் செல்லும்போது அதன் வேகம் மாறுவதால் விலகலடையும் (Refraction).
• வெள்ளை ஒளி ஏழு நிறங்களாகப் பிரிவது நிறப்பிரிகை (Dispersion) எனப்படும்.
• ஆடியில் இடப்பக்கம் வலப்பக்கமாகவும், வலப்பக்கம் இடப்பக்கமாகவும் தெரிவது இடவல மாற்றம் (Lateral Inversion).

• Light always travels in a straight line. This is why shadows are formed.
• Light bends (Refraction) when it moves from one medium to another due to change in speed.
• The splitting of white light into seven colors is called Dispersion.
• The swap of left and right in a mirror is called Lateral Inversion.
